Highlights of Fall/Winter 2010 Part 2

continuing on my favourite collections of the season…

Anna Sui

The perpetual hippie, Anna Sui, produced another signature collection layering knits, furs and Art Nouveau prints.  I love the burgundies and earth tones used in the collection and the way in which multiple patterns were mixed to piece together complex eye candy. Some of my favourite pieces include the fur trimmed moccasins and the creative take on leopard print. Complete collection here.

Anna Molinari’s Blue Marine fashion collection was all fun and kitsch with it’s glitzy looks for Fall 2010 collection. As ultra girly as ever Blue Marine offered outfits decked out in silvery sparkle, animal print and lots of fringe. Shiny leather rocked out some of the looks, punctuating in deep blacks an otherwise light pastel palette. Complete collection here.

Christopher Bailey created a strong showing for Burberry, with his burnt colour pallet and endless stream of wearable coats in every desirable silhouette. From military to oversized to prim-and-proper Burberry had it all without losing any cohesion in the collection. Thigh high leather boots, wrapped bodice dresses and amazing textured fabrics completed the look. See complete collection Here.
