Off to Paris

Well I am off to Paris for a week, returning July 31st. Hoping this time around i’ll be visiting the Louvre, Versaille and even Disneyland yaa :) I do not know if I will have internet connection so posts are suspended till I return. Love to all my family and friends ^_^

    Ahh the Grande Odalisque by Ingres, we were studying this painting in my Art History class last year. Apparantely, her back is so long that it wouldn’t be physically possible in real life, she would need extra vertebrae! Hope that you have a fabulous time and visit lots of museums. Make sure to write about your trip when you get back!

    Hmm.. You are right. You know I think I have been drawing too many exagerated bodies when doing fashion illustration that I didnt really notice heh :) But you know some people are born with an extra vertabrae called Lumbosacral transitional vertebrae where they have 6 vertebrae rather then 5.. but more likely this artist was didnt pay attention in anatomy class ;)
